Ingredients
1 to 1.5 pounds chicken of choice (fresh or frozen)
1 jar Verde Salsa of choice ( I like Herdez)
1 small can chopped Green Chilies
1 packet Hidden Valley Ranch (approximately 2 Tbsp.)
Half a block Cream Cheese
Optional seasonings to taste:
Garlic Powder
Cumin
Taco Seasoning
Onion Powder
Salt
Pepper
Shredded Mexican flavored cheese
2 Tbsp. Spicy Greens Mix microgreens
Preparation
Step 1
Place chicken in slow cooker.
Step 2
Add the following over top of the chicken: Salsa Verde, Green Chilies, Hidden Valley Ranch, and any optional seasonings. Make it to your Mexican flavor preference. Lastly the half block of cream cheese.
Step 3
Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4. When done shred the chicken by your method of choice.
Step 4
Place soft tortilla on a plate (warm it in the microwave to make it supper special. Add approximately 2 ounces of chicken, top with cheese, microgreens, and any other toppings that make your heart sing.
